Formed sometime between early to mid 1999, my squared circle stared out as a cover band primarily playing alternative music. The band started out as a trio which consisted of Lutfi, arash and shain, playing moslty covers, they also did some local band covers back then. It was fun that got all of them together, despite the fact that every member had their other band projects apart from this band.
towards the end of 1999, the band recruited endra, whom at that time played drums for thecovers, After this new inclusion, the band started to pen down serious original tunes. Their main influences were streamlined to emo and punk rock. Afterwhich they spent a year or two writing songs, figuring out different riffs, guitar tones, practising very hard. during this spam of time, they even recruited a keyboardist trying to experiment with more tones, but this was shortlived. the new member had other commitments and had to leave the band.
Since then, the band have gone through many interesting progressions both in terms of musicianship and outlook.
