Vertical Rush combines the sensibilities of 90’s indie rock like that of Dinosaur Jr. and Gin Blossoms, with intense emo guitar melodies and vocal harmonies reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World (Vocalist Esmond Wee is a self-confessed fan of the latter!).

Critics ready to brush this aside take note! Just because this is a local produce does not equate to slipshod production. Producer Steven Cheong presents a clean recording, masterfully bringing out clear guitars, resonating vocals and crystal sounding drums directly through our ears.
